sometimes worse illnesses. Alternative medicines can be a person's
first line of defense before using modern medicine. Homeopathic
treatments help the body heal itself. The benefits of using herbal
remedies and treatments such as acupuncture are immeasurable.

strict vegetarian or vegan diet, there are certain basic principles
that any diet should include. We have also found that a family, whose
members all subscribe to the same diet, eat better, communicate better
& tend to be more unified in all areas of their lives. Organic
& unprocessed foods are optimal for good health &
growing
children.

Homeschooling
We
believe that every family can homeschool at least part-time, if not
full-time. Homeschool is a great way to see what your children are
learning, rather than depending on subjective testing and 'average'
scoring. Homeschooling also allows you as a family to decide what is
important for you to learn and when to learn it, instead of repeating
subjects over and over. It is also a great way to integrate
spirituality into your family unit.

Family Planning and Ecological Breastfeeding are two great and drug
free ways to space children or avoid conception. Taking control of
their fertility is empowering for many women and families. It is quite
possible and easy to avoid conception without using potentially harmful
hormonal drugs or medical devices. Keep in mind though that natural
family planning does not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases.
