Close Encounters with the Vaccine Schedule

I’m proud to say that we never ‘really’ had that conversation with anyone and neither has our child been injected with neurochemicals at such a fragile and neurologically developing age or now.

I guess when he’s older and rebelling against all that we ’stand for’, he can decide for himself to go and get inoculated with the latest list of injectables.

  2. Thanks Nia! I and I see things differently than the government.

  3. We delay vaxed and didn’t follow the schedule for our first 4 children. We planned to do the same for our 5th child and suddenly our pediatrician wasn’t so keen on it. They “allowed” us to wait until 18 months and then gave him 4 shots in one visit. He had a reaction (which none of my other children had at all) that they considered “mild and NORMAL” but I most certainly did not see it like that. I asked, “If a child who had never been sick a day in his life started running a high fever for days straight, acted lethargic and weak and cried constantly like he was in pain, you’d say there was something wrong with that child, wouldn’t you?” “Well, yes of course but….” But WHAT?

When I stated he would not receive further immunizations, they reported us to the health department and social services. And of course, we now have a new pediatrician.

  4. Yep this sounds like the usual thing. Unfortunately, so many people buy that ‘normal’ song and dance. While it might be ‘normal’, it doesn’t make it RIGHT.
