Oh my goodness this was wonderfully written. I must admit I frequently struggle to appreciate my newly 5 year old these days, but I read so much of her in your words, I’m going to print them out and celebrate them in my own little feisty 5 tomorrow.

Thanks so much! Learning to accept all the strengths (and weaknesses) and gifts our children have is challenging and liberating for both them and us…but, oh the rewards it affords!
