It&#039;s odd, because I feel the exact same way about many of the things that I speak out against...they all seem so challenging -- challenging our inner voice and natural tendency towards compassion (not that traditional parenting is completely void of compassion). Working against a child and resisting his natural inclinations seems more challenging than embracing them and trying to work with them in a consensual &amp; safe way.</description>
