This year, we decided to try a different CSA arrangement. The last two years we had been using Kretschmann’s Farm, but this year, we’re using Penn’s Corner Farmer Alliance. The following pictures are of the first two CSA shares of the season.

The Asparagus, Broccoli and Acini de pepe ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acini_di_pepe ) were all purchased at the Bellevue Farmer’s Market down the street from the CSA pick-up point.
Hopefully, this year, I can keep up with posting about what we get and possibly how I use some of it.
Oooo… very nice. We didn’t get nearly as much in ours. I envy the herbs (particularly because MY cilantro and chives can’t stay healthy) and the peas….
