11. What’s the last thing you sold (both personally and professionally)? Professionally – a skirt made from a recycled pillowcase. Personally – old clothing during our street’s yearly yard sale.
12. How many different birthdays do you have committed to memory, and aside from using your own noggin, how do you keep track of all the others? Somewhere around a dozen – the calender keeps some and Facebook reminds me of others.
13. When was the last time someone took a picture of you, and what were you doing? I was going to say, myself, but then I remember William (Dear Other Half) took one of me… however, I don’t remember what I was doing?
14. Could you survive living on the streets of your town for an entire month with no access to any of your money or other assets? Why or why not? More than likely… but, there are couches I could surf, so I don’t know if I would have to actually be on the streets. Unless we’re considering friends an asset…
15. How many light bulbs are in your home, and when was the last time you had to change one? Somewhere around 60 (I kid you not). I finally replaced the fridge light this afternoon – it only burned out months and months ago!
16. If you were recovering from major surgery in a hospital and could have any person, from any era, recovering in the bed next to you, who would it be? Wow. Anyone? Walt Whitman.
17. If you were reborn the child of a celebrity, who would you choose to be your celebrity parent(s)? Blossom – though, hopefully I wouldn’t be reborn as a boy, because she’d circumcise me and that wouldn’t be cool, but other than that, she seems pretty awesome (see what I did there… awesome, blossom).
18. What’s the last book you read, and, what book are you planning on reading next? Last book read – Opening Up, by Tristan Taormino. Finishing up – Anathem, by Neal Stephenson. Reading next – Seductions Of Rice (alford & duguid, 1998) and Women Who Run with the Wolves, by Clarissa Pinkola Estés.
19. Who, out of anyone either dead or alive, would you like to see host an upcoming episode of SNL? Charlie Chaplin.
20. What’s your favorite kind of cheese? How often do you eat it? Well, when I ate dairy, it was blue cheese and the ‘bluer’ the better I ate it pretty much at every chance I got until I realized dairy products were making me ill. Occasionally I eat faux cheeses, but I’m kind of over cheese and not dependent on it like most people, especially Americans (who, I swear, must cover EVERYTHING with cheese). As far as faux cheeses are concerned #1 is Daiya and #2 is Teese.
