Friday Fill-In 04.15.2011

1. For me, it was a tough decision.

2. Wishing their was more of a selection of organic foods at my local supermarket.

3. Behind the sound of the wind in the trees, I heard the answers to Life, the Universe and Everything.

4. Learn to play the accordion is something I always wanted to do.

5. When it was over, I was able to take a step back and really let myself feel – reflection at it’s best.

6. This Winter was particularly difficult for me, but I never felt alone.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to grabbing drinks with a good friend, tomorrow my plans include getting my hair prettied up by a pretty lady and calling my dad to wish him a happy birthday and Sunday, I want to sleep like the dead… but I have lovely children to kidsit instead!

Friday Fill-In 04.08.2011

1. In the near darkness I wait for fireflies.

2. I’m off duty today until further notice.

3. But this is just allergies (I realize I’m lying to myself).

4. Would love to head up to the park in Sewickley and stick my toes in the stream creek there.

5. It’s always nice to have friends drop by.

6. My friend S has a wonderful ear for listening and she’s pleasant company.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to cleaning the kitchen with William, tomorrow my plans include Kidsitting for the Gyres & a bit more kitchen clean up and Sunday, I want to sleep in!

1. I can’t believe some people are so blind.

2. Hoping it’s a good weekend for everyone.

3. How can I figure out how to learn to play the accordion (for free) — free online YouTube lessons?

4. Fried rice was the last thing I cooked.

5. Six of one half a dozen of the other.

6. Conservatives; nonono!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to taking it easy at home with my peoples, tomorrow my plans include sleeping in & working on some projects and Sunday, I want to get some housework tackled (yeah, I’m a fucking riot this weekend)!

Friday Fill-In 03.25.2011

1. Why does it always seem like the good moments never last long enough?

2. Cause is equal to effect (causa aequat effectum).

3. My favorite breakfast includes pink toast, juice (preferably a dark juice like blueberry-pomegranate), fruit & tofu scrambler (sometimes with some black beans thrown in for good measure).

4. Opening Up, by Tristan Taormino was the last book I read cover to cover & didn’t want to throw it against the wall or across the room.

5. I am SO glad it’s finally Spring!

6. Chai in a warm mug & sunshine on my toes would make me feel better right now.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to watching more Jeremiah with William & working on my sewing project, tomorrow my plans include more work on my sewing project and Sunday, I want to set up the new large calender in the playroom — (I know, sounds like a rather eventful weekend, ha)!

62 posts straight until I took the last two days off from blogging. Not a bad run for me. Two months of blogging nonstop, every day. I don’t know if I can keep it up, in reality. However, I will stay on top of my scheduled appearances on Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon & Wed.

1. I love to go to Jamaica because being there on the beach in a hammock is on my bucket list.

2. [I have absolutely nothing for this one] it’s the quality!

3. The last thing I had to eat was an almond (yes, just one).

4. Pretending to be someone else is no longer essential.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to going to Belvies for Babs & Courtney’s birthday bash, tomorrow my plans include working on a patchwork skirt that I am making for a friend and Sunday, I want to make some really tasty saag!

1. Oh gross! I thought it was anything but a bowl of leftovers from fracking Solstice – do you people not look in the back of fridge from time to time?

2. Living in rural Japan sounded so good until I found out about giant hornets: well THAT’s off my bucket list!

3. No, I will not do that.

4. There’s little that is more beautiful than a late night silent snowfall; I love them with all my heart and soul.

5. And then he said to me, “One day you and I will have beautiful children together”.

6. I can’t forget that it’s in the details where the magic happens.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to watching a screening of GASLAND, tomorrow my plans include recovering from drinking too much tonight and doing dishes and Sunday, I want to make soup and get some laundry put away (I know, really fracking boring)!
